Keva Little Souls… a unique connector for kids and parents

When Julia Whiteguard left her high-pressured job in logistics, it was to give birth to her son. Like all expectant parents, Julia expected a healthy, happy child to arrive in her life.

She got the happy little boy that is enriching her days and his food sensitivity and allergy challenges have changed Julia’s life and the lives of new parents all over the region. Why? Because Julia rose to the challenge. She looked at the isolation of parenting and has adopted a gentle parenting philosophy and formed an organization to connect like-minded parents. It’s called Keva Little Souls. (Keva means beautiful child).

Member families sign up with an annual membership and are immediately linked to a physical and an online community, including useful blog posts that give resources and thoughtful considerations.

And then Julia began investigating superb service providers for children and started to attract business and service sponsors and pros, each of which pay a fee to belong. What a win-win-win!

The businesses get access to new clients, new families. The parents get access to superb service, vetted by Julia and connected through her organization. And the kids? Well, they get the best of all possible world.

Julia holds regular getogethers where families spend time, hear guest speakers, interact with each other, share information, etc. etc.  In today’s technologically connected world, having true face time is a real treat.

Things are going so well that Julia is holding her first Community Event Show. Called Healthy Families & Bouncing Bambinos, it’s slated for Saturday, October 27 from 11 am to 4 pm. Location is Innisfil Community Church on Innisfil Beach Rd near Alcona.

Sponsor and Pro tables will give participants the chance to meet potential health care providers, music teachers, cleaners, fitness gurus etc.

Keynote speaker for the event is Julie Daniluk, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, who will discuss “Meals that Heal Inflammation.”  Daniluk hosts her own show on the Oprah Network. She has also appeared with Marilyn Denis, CP 24 and Dr Oz. A published author, Julie’s talk on the 27th will be of true interest to families coping with food sensitivities as well as families just wanting a healthier lifestyle.

Julia has also arranged for visits from Firefighters and Police so there will be the excitement of seeing vehicles and meeting the people who keep us safe. Zumba, Yoga, Baby yoga, holistic products, kindermusik, story time, a carseat clinic, genealogy workshop, door prizes, silent auction, giveaways and more.

Doesn’t this sound like a terrific day? www.kevalittlesouls.com Register early. Grandparents welcome.

  1. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Keva! My 7 month old son and I have had consultation with Lara Marie, RHN of Blissful Health, we’ve enjoyed summer baby playdates and discussions out at the picturesque Serenity Birth Studios, we have had fun and fat-blasting mom&baby Zumba with Lori of Inner Motion Fitness, played with instruments and learned new songs with Margot of Melody in Me, gone baby-wearing mini-putting and had picnics at Cedar Links, met great sponsors and pros that I know I can trust with my baby/mom needs, and most importantly I’ve connected with a group of gentle-parenting families that have now become amazing friends.
